This does not happen every time, however, I can sometimes go hours without it happening. Every time this happens, my personal (beyond page 1) or shared stash gets deleted, respectively, depending on the error I get. The game boots fine and runs fine but occasionally when I exit the game, I get an error saying Plugy cannot create the extended stash file or Plugy cannot create the shared stash file. If you are installing the latest version of PlugY by using "PlugY The Survival Kit" - the version you are installing it on should preferably be a 1.13 version of Diablo II.Dominos9189 wrote:I appreciate the step by step guide to the installation! However, I am running into a rather annoying issue. However, when I've encountered problems with different installations/versions, I have done the following: searched the whole computer (in the Windows explorer) with keywords for Diablo II ("Diablo" "Blizzard" "D2SE" "PlugY" "Other mods") -> then deleted everything I found that should be deleted -> then uninstalled Diablo II -> then opened the registry editor -> then searched there with the same keywords -> then deleted everything there that should deleted -> then reinstalled Diablo II with a 1.12 version -> made the game run properly by using d2vidtst and by changing compatability- and administrator settings in the Diablo II.exe/Diablo II launcher that I'm using (D2SE, Cactus). It always has been kind of straightforward for me when I got it work. Man, good to hear that you are on the single player grind.
